Connect to a local iis-site with Nebula Plus

I have recently bought a Nebula Plus tablet and I am trying to understand how its browser functions works.
I am using the builtin StarOs browser and I can browse external web sites such as cnn.com etc. without problems.
However when I try to browse to my internal IIS web site with an address such as https://192.168.0.100 I will just have a blank screen and nothing happens. When I do the same thing with an inexpensive market tablet using Chrome the site will show up nicely. Are there some settings in my Nebula, which stops an internal ip-based https browsing from working? Some kind of error information would be nice to have. Is it stored somewhere in the tablet?
Ok, I use Chrome in the latter case, but I don't even know how to install android apps on my Nebula. The user manual says nothing about it, but I would rather use Chrome than the Staros browser.
