The touch screen is a  Capacitive Touch Screen. 

In terms of security, we would believe that it is built up on the software side of the unit. 

STAROS is an app built by us to secure the lock down of browsers , apps etc so that no third party could access to it. 

Therefore, the security side of the touch panel is built on STAROS app.
