Announcement: Star Control Platform Update

We are thrilled to announce an upcoming update to the Star Control platform that will bring exciting enhancements and new features!

Platform Update Details and Schedule:

• Added Star Control version number
  
• Ability to export device list in csv format
  
• Able to add multiple URL at the same page in lockdown mode
  
• Replaced remote desktop button when device has not been connected to Star Control
  
• Filter option added application installed
  
• Account will display whether license is trial or premium
  
• Ability to add more time when using remote desktop 
  
• Live sync device settings
  
• See device CPU temperature, location based on network, Wifi db value
  
• Add tags for better search filtering
  
• Added Others in library to place files with different extensions
  
• Preference for double authentication 
  
• Maintenance mode added to lockdown device
  
• Scheduled firmware updates
  
• See all device real time location in dashboard
  
• Notification when device settings has been pushed
  
• Add certificate and different files remotely to device
  
• See if device is portrait or landscape
  
• Able to filter device that is not in any groups
  
• Broadcast media lockdown added a option to loop content
  
• Able to see when is the last time device was online

What to Expect:

• Downtime: The platform will be temporarily offline during the update for one hour (10:30 am to 11:30 am UTC/GMT +8 hours). We appreciate your understanding and patience.
  

• Firmware: Existing firmware will still be functional after the platform upgrade, however there are some new features that require a new firmware update in order to work. Please speak with your local representative to receive the most updated firmware for your device. 

• Device Supported: All Glory Star devices running android OS with 12 and above.
