How to update firmware by Computer?

The below is the instructions on how to update firmware by computer to our android series of tablets. We usually use this only when the tablet is stuck or when the updating by USB does not work. For the actual firmware, you will need to contact us at  support@glorytargroup.com  to receive the actual firmware after providing your serial number. Please note that it will take some time for us to trace back on the correct firmware version . 

1. Installing DRIVER TO COMPUTER 
You must install this DRIVER  to operate the firmware update process 










2. Setting up your Computer with RKDEV TOOL 
Double Click to open the RKDEV Tool 







Now set the computer aside first, but don't turn the RK Development tool off as you will need to later connect to the tablet so that both are connected. 


3. Setting up the Tablet and Materials to Prepare 






4. Connecting the tablet to PC 














5. Download the firmware to the tablet 
















If after firmware upgrade you do not see the MAC address or the serial number. You will need to use another tool to put these serial number and MAC Address back in.
