Musea Release Notes - Version 1.1.0

We’re thrilled to introduce Musea Version 1.1.0, packed with new features and enhancements to elevate your experience. Here’s what’s included in this update:

New Features and Improvements

• Board Enhancements
  • Added support for uploading single-page PDF files, FTP links, and YouTube links.
  • Users can now create custom templates within the Board.
  • Added an ONVIF link component with split-screen support.
  • Introduced a Playlist component within the Board. After adding media files, sorting and deletion operations are now available via a pop-up window.
  • Scrolling text (marquee) component now includes adjustable text movement speed settings.
  • During Board creation/editing, the component navigation bar has been moved to the left side of the screen, with the original left-side settings relocated to the right.
  • Board name is now displayed in the editing interface for better context.
• Playlist Enhancements
  • Added a scheduled playback feature for timed Playlist execution.
  • During Playlist creation/editing, users can jump to a selected Board for editing and then return to the Playlist seamlessly.
  • Multiple Playlists can now be pushed to a device, with the ability to select and play any pushed Playlist directly from the platform for that device.
  • Playlist name is now displayed in the editing interface.
• Board & Playlist Management
  • Added a duplicate (copy) function for both Boards and Playlists.
  • Introduced a "select all" option for bulk deletion of Boards and Playlists.
• Starcontrol Account Backend
  • Devices now include a statistics toggle. When enabled, the device will automatically report playback counts for images or videos in a Playlist.
• Starcontrol/Musea Library
  • Added a download function for files in the Library.

What to Expect

• Downtime
  The platform will be temporarily offline during the update starting at 10:30 AM UTC/GMT +8 hours for approximately one hour. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.
• Compatibility
  • Firmware: Existing firmware will remain functional after the platform upgrade. However, some new features require a firmware update to work fully. Please contact your local representative to obtain the latest firmware for your device.
  • Device Supported: All Glory Star devices running Android OS version 12 and above are compatible with this release.
